We ship all live fish via UPS Next Day Air to the continental USA only. 

Weather-Related Delays

The safety and well-being of your order are our top priority. Extreme weather conditions (e.g., extreme heat, cold, storms, or natural disasters) may delay shipping to ensure the safety of your items.

Before shipping, we monitor weather forecasts for both our location and the destination. If extreme weather is predicted, we may delay shipping until conditions improve.

If your order is delayed due to weather, we will notify you via email and provide updates on the new shipping timeline.

Once an order is placed we will separate the fish for 24- 48 hours prior to the shipping date, during that period the fish will not fed to ensure minimum water pollution during transport.

For shipping small fish we use double bags 4 mil, for larger fish double 4 mill and a 6 mil liner. Oxygen is injected to the bags and then are heat sealed.

Live Fish Shipping

Live fish are carefully packed with insulated materials and heat/cold packs to maintain a stable temperature during transit.

We reserve the right to delay shipping if temperatures at the destination are outside the safe range for live tropical fish between [40°F and 95°F].

If weather conditions are unsafe for shipping, we will contact you to discuss options, including rescheduling or refunding your order.

We guarantee that all fish will arrive alive and healthy. In the event of a DOA (Dead on Arrival), the following is required for a claim:

Provide clear photographs showing all deceased fish inside the unopened shipping bag and after being removed from the bag, taken within one hour of the first delivery attempt.

For claims involving multiple fish, please also provide a 15-second video showing the fish in a container of water so we can confirm there are no signs of life.
