Austin Texas Discus

At Austin Texas Discus, we take pride in offering fish that are born and raised exclusively in our fish rooms, not imported. As a family-owned small discus breeding operation, we have over 100 tanks with a total water capacity of over 3,500 gallons, housing up to 20 breeding pairs.

Our fish are maintained in water circulation systems with sump filters, reducing the need for large water changes while ensuring the high water quality necessary for healthy discus growth. We use city tap water for all our fish and do not utilize reverse osmosis systems for breeding.

For nutrition, we feed all our discus, including breeding parents and small babies, with Tetra Color Tropical Granules, a high-quality granulated fish food.

We are also breeding other tropical fish that are compatible with discus and share water conditions and temperature.
